If a printed copy conflicts with the current approved document, contact the Secretary Treasurer before relying on it for an election, meeting, charge, amendment, or other formal Local action.

02 // MEMBER ACTION LINKS

Start with the right information.

These links open a prepared email with the basic facts the Local needs. Review the message, attach the actual document, and add anything important before sending it.

Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, banking information, unrelated medical records, or protected patient information through ordinary email.

03 // BUILD THE RECORD

A clean packet saves time when time matters.

A pile of screenshots is not a case file. Keep originals, dates, complete documents, and a factual timeline so the Local can identify the issue and the deadline quickly.

01

Keep the original notice, complaint, order, email, text message, payroll record, or benefit letter

02

Record the date, time, sender, recipient, and method of delivery for every important document

03

Save the policy, merit rule, job description, schedule, or agreement cited by the employer

04

Write a factual timeline while events are fresh and separate personal knowledge from information reported by others

05

List witnesses by full name, assignment, and what each person may know without coordinating statements

06

Send complete documents with every page visible and keep a copy of everything provided to the Local

04 // MEMBER RESOURCE GUIDES

Open the guide for the issue.

The merit PDFs remain in the Merit Commission Center so this page does not become another duplicate document pile.

05 // PRINCIPAL OFFICERS

Send the question to the right person.

If you are unsure, send it to the President. If a deadline may be running, copy the President and Vice President of Labor.

LOCAL 4406 DISTRICTS

Four districts. One document standard.

Approved district notices, meeting documents, forms, and member resources can be added here as they are provided. Department policies and agreements will remain outside this public section.

ADD OR CORRECT A LOCAL DOCUMENT

Send the approved file to the Secretary Treasurer.

Include the document title, approving body, approval date, effective date, and whether the prior version should be removed. Do not send drafts for public posting unless they are clearly marked as drafts.

Local 4406 materials may be revised by the membership or another authorized body. Confirm the current approved version before relying on a document for a formal Local action. Member action links create ordinary email messages and do not replace a timely appeal, grievance, hearing request, or filing required by law or local rule.
